DODA , APR 03 (KNO) : A youth died due to lightening currents in Arnora Bari area of Doda today evening.An official said that Santosh Kumar (33 ) son of Late Lekh Raj resident of Arnora Bari , Doda died due to lightening.He said that he died after lightening currents struck him while he was working in his home .
After that he was shifted to District Hospital Doda for treatment where doctors declared him dead . It is notable to mention here that the lightning followed by deafening explosions led to panic with people trying to take cover for safety in various villages of Doda district .
Following the thunderstorm, light rain lashed parts of Bhaderwah and Doda and continued for nearly an hour.(KNO)
